How to Find Us

SmartStyle is based in the historic Little Germany area of Bradford, close to the city centre, both train stations and the local motorway network.

From Foster Square Railway Station:
On leaving the Station, proceed downhill, past the Midland Hotel, turn left & walk round the corner. Follow the road straight down, walk past the Royal Mail sorting office on the left hand side.  Continue straight down, cross pedestrian crossings.  Continue straight on, cross over the road towards the barbers shop and follow the road round to the right.  Continue following the road round and you have reached the bottom of Church Bank.  Across the road is Pennine House and a small paper kiosk.  This is the end of Well Street.  Cross the road and walk along Well Street for about 150 yds and Kershaw House is the penultimate building on the left hand side.   There are four steps leading up to SmartStyle’s door which is on the left of the building.

From Bradford Interchange:
Exit the Interchange & cross the road outside the ‘The Victoria’ pub. Proceed down past St Georges Hall & turn right at the traffic lights along Hall Ings, walk past a large smoked glass building, the T&A, on the right.  Continue straight ahead.  When you reach the Job Centre cross over at the pedestrian crossing.  You are at the end of Well Street.  Walk along Well Street for about 20 yds and Kershaw House is on the right.   There are four steps leading up to SmartStyle’s door which is on the left of the building.

From Leeds Ring Road:
Follow the A647 (Leeds Road) to Bradford.  On approaching the City Centre the road splits into about 5 lanes.  Stay in the second lane and go straight on at the lights, heading towards the City Centre.  Get in the right hand lane and take the filter lane on the right turning into Chapel Street, Little Germany.   (If you turn left at the next set of lights there is all day parking available in the multi-storey for £3).  Continue for approx. 200 yards, turn left onto Peckover Street, take the second left onto Currer Street.  Continue to the bottom of Currer Street and turn left onto Well Street.  Continue for approx. 100 yards.  Kershaw House is the penultimate building on the left hand side.  There are four steps leading up to SmartStyle’s door which is on the left of the building.

From M606/M62:
Junction 26 off the M62 and take the M606 to Bradford. Follow the M606 to the end (do not take the left exit), following signs for the Ring Road (A6177) (Rooley Lane).  Past McDonalds on the left to the Asda Junction (Asda is on the left).  At the next roundabout take the left exit, following signs for the City Centre (A650).  Follow the road for about 1 mile going straight on at two roundabouts, still following signs for the City Centre (Wakefield Road).  As you approach the City Centre the road splits into 4 lanes, get in the second lane (which then becomes the left hand lane) & go through 2 sets of lights which are close together.  Stay in the left hand lane, and take the left fork signposted City Centre South.   You are now joining Leeds Road.  Get in the right hand lane and take the filter lane on the right turning into Chapel Street, Little Germany. (If you turn left at the next lights all day parking is available in the multi-storey for £3).  Continue for approx. 200 yards, turn left onto Peckover Street, take the second left onto Currer Street.  Continue to the bottom of Currer Street and turn left onto Well Street.  Continue for approx. 100 yards.  Kershaw House is the penultimate building on the left hand side.   There are four steps leading up to SmartStyle’s door which is on the left of the building.

From Keighley/Bingley
Follow the A650 Keighley Road into Manningham Lane.  At the end of Manningham Lane turn left and follow the signs for Foster Square Retail Park.  Continue down, through all sets of traffic lights following signs for M62/ M606.  There is a Honda car garage at the bottom of the road, where the road forks, follow the road to the left, but remain in the right hand lane.  Follow signs for the M62/ M606.  Continue on this road for approx. ½ mile.  Keep in the right hand lane.  Pass through 2 sets of traffic lights.  When you reach the 3rd set of lights you will see the Yorkshire Building Society on the left.   Continue through the lights, take the slip road, following signs for the A647 City Centre & Little Germany and pick up the Leeds Road.  Get in the right hand lane and take the filter lane on the right turning into Chapel Street, Little Germany. (If you turn left at the next lights all day parking is available in the multi-storey for £3).  Continue for approx. 200 yards, turn left onto Peckover Street, take the second left onto Currer Street.  Continue to the bottom of Currer Street and turn left onto Well Street.  Continue for approx. 100 yards.  Kershaw House is the penultimate building on the left hand side.   There are four steps leading up to SmartStyle’s door which is on the left of the building.

Parking Notes
There is pay and display parking on Well Street and surrounding roads as well as several large car parks in the immediate vicinity.  The closest car park is in the Leisure Exchange behind the Job Centre on Leeds Road, accessed by turning left at the lights at the bottom of Leeds Road (as detailed in the directions above).  To reach us by foot from here, head back towards the Job Centre, cross over at the pedestrian crossing and you are at the end of Well Street.  Walk along Well Street for about 20 yds and Kershaw House is on the right.  There are four steps leading up to SmartStyle’s door which is on the left of the building.
Alternatively Burnett Street Car Park, accessed by turning right at the end of Well Street, to the top of the hill, turn right again and then left following the signs for the Car Park.
