Keystrokes are delighted to announce some exciting news. From Friday 1st August, Keystrokes has become part of Bradford based, SmartStyle Training Ltd. [Find out more]

SmartStyle share our commitment to customer service, quality training delivery and value for money and with training centres in Bradford and Liverpool they are one of the most successful and fastest growing training delivery companies in the North of England.

Keystrokes’ range of services will be expanded to include SmartStyles’s comprehensive public scheduled courses in technology, business and leadership skills. As part of SmartStyle, we are able to access more extensive resources and expertise with the capability of national coverage.

SmartStyle are also excited about joining forces – they will have access to Fiz-assist, our online skills gap analysis system, to help their clients get the right skills to the right people and, they too look forward to taking on larger scale projects while continuing to offer the same high standard of personal service.

Accreditation successes
Keystrokes has successfully achieved accreditation from the Institute of IT Training (IITT) for the third successive year. As an Accredited Training Provider we continue to deliver consistently high quality training to our clients. The IITT accreditation process allows us to benchmark our services and ensures that each year we continue to improve. The IITT Accreditation Report 2008 comments: ‘Keystrokes is once again applauded for its commitment to quality, receptiveness to new ideas and the desire to continuously improve.’

Keystrokes has been awarded ‘A’ status again in our annual European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) test centre audit, carried out by the British Computer Society (BCS). Our accredited status confirms that we meet the requirements for BCS Qualifications and also that our staff are qualified to assess and administer the qualifications.

Events
The 2008 Yorkshire Business Market was held on Monday 28th April at Pavilions of Harrogate, on the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate. Keystrokes were among over 150 Yorkshire businesses exhibiting at the event and making the most of the opportunity to network and promote their products and services.

BILD conference
The second annual conference of the British Institute for Learning & Development (BILD) will be held on 12th June 2008 at the CBI Conference Centre, London. The theme of this year’s conference is Engagement in Learning – increasing the impact of learning and development in the world of work.

Yorkshire Women of Achievement Lunch 2008
This year’s lunch and awards ceremony will be held on Friday 27th June at the Royal Armouries in Leeds. The event celebrates the contribution made by women in the workplace, in education, and in their communities. It is also a major fund raising event for the Sue Ryder Care Wheatfields Hospice in Leeds.

Institute of IT Training (IITT) National Training Conference and Exhibition
The Institute of IT Training's annual conference and exhibition is for all training professionals and those who need to keep in touch with the latest in improving workplace performance. This year’s event is on 18th September at The Oxford Belfry, Thame, Oxfordshire. There will be a Welcome Reception and Networking event held on the evening before (17th September).
