APM Success for Keystrokes Staff
Sarah Wilson of Keystrokes Ltd has successfully completed the Association for Project Management (APM) Examination. The qualification, which demands a very high standard, recognises project managers for their knowledge, implementation and experience of managing projects.
Sarahs role as Training Project Manager for Keystrokes has given her experience of running projects on both large and small scale. Keystrokes work with North Yorkshire Police in 2002-2003 involved a massive training project including Training Needs Analysis, Individual Learning Plans and Microsoft Office training delivery to more than 2,500 NYP Force staff across four sites in North Yorkshire. More recently Sarah has project managed European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) training and testing at High Peak Borough Council, Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust, Yorkshire Forward, North West Development Agency as well as Training Needs Analysis and Microsoft Office training for Bassetlaw District Council. Sarah has also been responsible for the design of Keystrokes training needs analysis methodology and has contributed to the development of our online skills gap analysis tool.
Still glowing from the success of being one of only five out of 14 candidates to pass the APM exam, Sarah commented, The APM course was intensive and ran over two consecutive weekends with a shed-load of reading in between. Keystrokes gave me a couple of days off for revision which was invaluable. The exam itself was tough but being the competitive person that I am, I was really chuffed to know that I was one of the few to pass. The knowledge gained on the course will definitely inform my approach to managing future projects.
As a successful APM candidate, Sarah is now an IPMA Certificated Project Management Practitioner and will automatically become a member of the Association for Project Management whos aims are to develop and promote project management across all sectors of industry. Keystrokes are proud to have staff of such a high calibre as Sarah.
